You can read more about my visits to the Gamble House here. Of all the homes on this list, this is the only one so far that will give you beautiful views of the ocean. It has been called the Taj Mahal of Tile and I absolutely love that the house features locally made tile! The house was built in 1929 as a vacation home for the Adamson family but eventually became their fulltime residence. After the death of the owners, the state won a lawsuit to put beach parking where the house is.

This fabulous dish of Tempura Soft Shell crab was a late addition to the menu. The crabs were lightly battered and fried, then served with great theatre on this bed of dried chillies. If it’s not on the regular menu, you should request that they make this dish. Used in both the original 1991 and the 1995 sequel of the film Father of the Bride, starring Steve Martin, the Father of the Bride house still looks like it did in the films. While Martin's character claims he lives in San Marino, the Father of the Bride house is actually located in Pasadena at 843 S.

Fans also got so mesmerized by the sights of shots in this drama. Let’s look into some of the beautiful places in this drama that the viewers can visit. Moreover, this drama’s response from the fans was excellent as this is also on the top hit list of K-dramas. Being a fan of K-dramas personally would suggest this one to first-time viewers.

Finding filming locations from movies and TV shows has become one of my favorite things to do. Lately, I have been visiting a lot of famous TV and movie houses in Los Angeles. Almost any part of the LA area will be home to at least one or two of the iconic houses. Since all the homes on this list are private residences I do ask and recommend that you try and be as respectful as possible when you go to visit. The Gamble House in Pasadena is one of my favorite homes to visit. It is filled with fascinating details and a tour is well worth your time.
However, the start was moderate, but the high school drama begins when the story takes a turn. It is the perfect example of how someone can love selflessly without thoughts about their background. Built in 1911, this was the first mansion in Beverly Hills. The house looks beautiful but from the reviews that I have read, the gardens are truly what people love. Robinson’s department store when they started living in this mansion. The Eames House, also known as case study #8, is mid-20th century modern architecture.
It just happens to be five minutes away from my favorite place to eat. I definitely recommend getting food from Aroma Coffee and Tea while you’re in the area. I grew up a big fan of Hilary Duff and always watched her movies. So when a friend of mine posted a picture of this house I knew I had to see it in person. It was a very short drive from Casa Walsh and was close to Eaton Canyon where I was hiking later that day. This house is picturesque and has a fabulous fairytale vibe to it.
The Paramount Ranch Movie Studio Western Set
I drove past the house on my way to an event and immediately turned around in order to check it out. You cannot go beyond the gate but it is truly spectacular to see. The reincarnation thriller Dead Again was directed by Kenneth Branagh and starred Emma Thompson. The film features several Los Angeles locations, but the climax was filmed at here, where the story's star Grace lives in the apartment complex. The Dead Again "house" is on High Tower Drive, off Camrose Drive west of Highland Avenue. The closest you can get by automobile to the Dead Again house is the dead-end street below.
I wasn’t feeling well the day I was supposed to go so I had to pass on the experience. I know it doesn’t look like the set but getting to go inside such an iconic house is a rare chance. Whether you are local to Los Angeles or are planning to visit this blog has been created with you in mind. I hope that by sharing my adventures I am able to help you discover new and exciting places in LA. The Chateau style home was built in 1909 by Rollin B. Lane. Ownership of the house remained with the Lane family until 1955.
The address for the Happy Days house is 565 North Cahuenga Boulevard. From West Hollywood to Brentwood, to Santa Monica and Calabasas, there are almost too many neighborhoods chock full of your favorite starlets to count. Holmby Hills is an affluent neighborhood adjacent to the district, located south of Bel Air. This is perhaps the mecca of Hollywood high-life and luxuriousness. Home to the infamous zip code, the Beverly Hills Hotel, and the incredible Mulholland Drive.
Here it has been given an elegant modern interpretation and served up beautifully. Tender pieces of beef with a hint of smoke had bags of flavour. The kitchen is now headed up by Ian Pengelly who has helmed several other Asian fusion restaurants around town.
I recommend visiting The Gamble House to admire the architecture and history as much as I recommend visiting it as a filming location. I have toured the house for free on two different occasions which you can read about here. This is Doc Brown’s house in the Back to the Future trilogy.
According to Houstonian Mag, the elders of the family established themselves in the United States before acquiring their massive real estate empire. These days, there's clear proof that their hard work has paid off. The trailer for Season 2 gives viewers a glimpse into the living quarters of some of the different family members in Houston. This is all about some of the filming locations of ‘The Heirs.’ Stay tuned for more updates on theartistree about K-dramas or K-Pop culture.
The Mad Men house is actually walking distance from the Father Of The Bride house. This list will continue to be updated as I visit more filming locations. Be sure to check back to see what else gets added to this list. The members-only club will open Little House West Hollywood at 8465 Holloway Dr., formerly home to the Palihouse hotel, early next year. The new spot will include 34 bedrooms, a lounge, office spaces and a restaurant.
There are actually two homes that you can visit that were used in the movie. Can’t you just picture Franck and his team adding all of the finishing touches for the wedding reception? You can also visit the home used for the basketball scenes in Alhambra.
